The City of Kasson - Champion Web TV




		The City of Kasson, named for Irish Pioneer Jabez Hyde Kasson, was incorporated on February 24, 1870. Kasson was a prairie at the time, and early settlers began planting trees - Today the City holds the "Tree City USA" designation for its ongoing tree propagating and maintenance program. Visitors are encouraged to visit Kasson's historic attractions, including our original limestone watertower and the WPA era fireplace and stone fencing in Veteran's Memorial Park. The City of Kasson works with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development to maintain an accurate and updated profile of the community. There includes information on economic development programs and commercial/industrial land availability.
